IIRFA
Overview
GIROJ participates in the “Insurance Information and Ratemaking Forum of Asia” ( IIRFA, in short ) and engages in exchanges with Asian ratemaking and/or insurance-related organizations through various programs organized annually by the hosting entity.
IIRFA was established in 2013 with the aim of promoting collaboration and interaction among Asian ratemaking and/or insurance-related organizations, and contributing to the enhancement of knowledge and technical expertise related to their operations. The first conference was held in Tokyo. Since then, the forum has been held annually as a regular event, with hosting responsibilities rotating among participating organizations. Currently, IIRFA consists of official members from nine countries and regions: Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, India, China, Indonesia, and Mongolia. In 2023, GIROJ served as the host and held the event in Tokyo.
